And I'm only on DSL, so the difference between 3 and 30 is a lot more than cable where it might be 30 to 300. During the day, I can put my laptop using wifi right next to my phone and my phone will consistently get speeds about 8-10X faster than my computer (my LTE is disconnected, so I know it's wifi). u/RoweDent created this awesome resource on network theory
